Recent Updating of the database The database has been recently updated and upgraded so that changes can be made very quickly. If you are entered onto the database please contact us to amend your record, or if you wish to join then please get in touch. Plaudits! "DA21's database was an invaluable resource to us while we were
conducting a survey of climate change groups in the South West. Having
a list of group contacts saved us valuable volunteer research time. It
is vitally important to join up as we tackle the overwhelming problem
of climate change, and DA21's directory is an important step in this direction"

Dorset Directory of Sustainability Organisations What is it? This is a directory of organisations in Dorset (that is, voluntary groups, local and national organisations, and local government departments) compiled by Dorset Agenda 21, where sustainability in some aspect or other is part of their objectives or among their guiding principles. The directory comprises of an alphabetical list, which can be filtered by clicking on the A-Z tab under each category. By clicking on an organisation you can find out more details about it, including its aims, the activities it is involved in, and contact details. What's it for? Its purpose is to promote greater awareness of the organisations involved in sustainable practice in Dorset and to help members of the public, and other interested parties, to find out where to get help and advice about how to live more sustainably in Dorset. Can my organisation become a member? To be considered for entry onto this list, or to call attention to any
errors or omissions, please email; What other work has been done in relation to this? As well as the web directory a report was commissioned to examine the possibilities for future collaboration within the sustainability sub-sector in Dorset, utilising and building on the information gained from the the directory survey Click here to download the report in pdf format. This project was funded by the Dorset Strategic Partnership, and the
Dorset Change Up Consortium. |
